Back in March, I went out to California for the BIL Conference (a younger, crowd-sourced, quirkier version of TED). The opening night of the conference, I got to film a music performance for my friend Max Lugavere. It’s arguably one of the most amazing venues I’ve ever seen for a music performance: the boiler room of the Queen Mary cruise ship. Literally, it was in the underbelly of the retired ship and the boiler room had been gutted so it looked like a massive metal cave cathedral. Very cool.
